Jacques Louw
Jacques is married to Desiree and has two daughters, Michaela and Alexia. He has been on the pastoral staff of Pretoria North Baptist Church since January 2010. He currently serves the church in the role of senior pastor. He has completed his theological studies at Die Teologiese Seminarium of the Afrikaanse Baptiste Kerke in 2012. He has a great passion for preaching and music.

Proverbs 2:1-22

Solomon is writing Proverbs to teach and instruct us how to live wisely in the fear of the Lord in the real world. In Proverbs 2 he is teaching us that in order to have hope in this world we need to get serious in seeking the Lord and His wisdom. If we do, then God will get serious with us in revealing His wisdom to us so that we can be renewed and find His wisdom to help us in this real world. Having and growing in wisdom is then directly connected to seeking to know God!
