Jacques is married to Desiree and has two daughters, Michaela and Alexia. He has been on the pastoral staff of Pretoria North Baptist Church since January 2010. He currently serves the church in the role of senior pastor. He has completed his theological studies at Die Teologiese Seminarium of the Afrikaanse Baptiste Kerke in 2012. He has a great passion for preaching and music.

In this second sermon of our Festive Season Series entitled, Sing for You, we look at Zechariah's Benediction in which He blesses God for His great plan of salvation that is fulfilled in the coming of God's sunrise, Jesus Christ! He celebrates God's Mission, God's Messenger, and God's Messiah. May this song also stir us up to Sing for Joy as God's Sunrise has visited us, expelling the darkness!
